General Services

Consultations

Our two consultation rooms are spacious and equipped to deal with general consultations. General consultations, wellness exams and vaccinations are done in these rooms. An equine call out service is available by appointment.

General wellness exams

Annual wellness exams for young and senior pets provide significant health benefits and allow for early detection and treatment of health concerns. Blood work and vaccines are an essential part of preventative care.

We offer complete dental care which includes extractions, scaling and polishing.

Parrot Groomings

Beak trimming is done for a few reasons. The beak of normal birds should not require trimming, but lack of adequate wear could lead to an overgrowth of the beak. Excessively long nails can easily be caught in toys, carpets, or other objects, leading to injury. Trimming nails, therefore, is important for bird and owner when too long. Clipping of the wings is performed to limit the flight of the parrot for safety purposes.

Microchipping

Microchipping is a procedure that we highly recommend to all our clients. This procedure has proven its value repeatedly in assisting to reunite lost pets with their families.

Radiology and Ultrasound

Our clinic boasts a digital radiography unit, which enables us to get higher quality images in a quicker time than ever before. We also have a high-resolution digital ultrasound unit to assist with diagnoses in ill pets, as well as pregnancy diagnosis and check-ups.

Dentistry

We have a well-equipped dental area with an ultrasonic scaler and polisher to address your pet’s dental problems. Periodontal disease and dental problems are commonplace in our companion animals and dental health is extremely important for overall health in our pets.

House call service

Our veterinarians are available for home visits and are well equipped for equine consultations. These visits are strictly by appointment only.

Companion Animal Vaccinations

Vaccinations prevent diseases that can be passed between animals and also from animals to people. Our pets offer us love and friendship unconditionally; they are an important part of our lives and our families. To safeguard your pet from potentially serious and sometimes fatal diseases we recommend a preventative healthcare program for every pet. Like they say ‘prevention is better than cure’, and it is no different with the diseases that can affect our dogs and cats.

Spay & Neuter Procedures

We offer sterilisation services for dogs, cats and small mammals such as rabbits.

Fully equipped theatre with gas anaesthesia

Our spacious dedicated theatre is where our sterile procedures are performed. These range from sterilisation procedures, to complex soft tissue surgeries as well as certain orthopaedic operations.
